任务介绍

　　本任务名称待定，在2008年嘉年华中出现。任务发生在旧崔斯特瑞姆大教堂下面的地牢里，任务在最终游戏中可能不会出现，或者会以不同的形式出现。当玩家在地牢里探险的时候看，会看到在一扇门旁边有一群骷髅兵在攻击一个卫队长，玩家把骷髅杀光之后，卫队长会告诉玩家他和他的手下巡逻的时候被怪物伏击了。他要求玩家帮助他找回他的手下，同时他会和玩家一起作战。走过几个屏幕的距离之后玩家会看到一群士兵正遭到大量骷髅兵，僵尸之类的不死生物的围攻。卫队长要玩家去救人，那些士兵也会大叫救命。在士兵的附近有一个boss级的怪物，但是在士兵的帮助下玩家可以很轻松地虐杀它。玩家把怪物杀光之后，士兵们会向玩家表示感谢，然后自己开门回去了，把可怜的玩家一个人留在地牢里。。。。。。玩家会获得经验和一件魔法物品作为奖励。

　　"Escort Mission" is a description of this quest, not the actual name. "Escort Mission" is used since no one wrote it down when they saw it in the BlizzCon 2008 demo and is subject to change.BackgroundThis quest took place on the second (of three) levels of the dungeon beneath the Tristram Cathedral in the BlizzCon 2008 demo. This simple quest might not be found in the final game, or might be changed thenQuest WalkthroughWhile exploring the dungeon, the player sees a gang of skeletons attacking a fallen NPC beyond a gate. Once the player rushes over and wipes out the skeletons (since that's what players do, in Diablo III) the NPC gets up and speaks. He gives his name and says he was leading a patrol when they were attacked and he was separated from his men. He asks the player for help in finding his troops and says he'll follow you. A few screens away the player will come upon a group of NPC warriors battling a large mob of skeletons, zombies, and other undead. The NPC captain immediately starts shouting about how you must help his men, and the soldiers shout as well, when you get closer to them. There is usually a boss monster in the area, but with the NPCs to help occupy the monsters, the battle goes pretty quickly. Once all of the demons are defeated, the NPC soldiers reunite and thank you for your help, before casting a town portal and vanishing through it. The player can not pass through their town portal, and is left alone in the dungeon. RewardThis quest rewarded the character with experience and a magical item。
