Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (product research)

　　Location: Shanghai, China

　　Responsibilities:

　　Lead a small engineering team to solve the technical issues of our product survey.

　　Define requirements, design, and deployment of market collection programs.

　　Provide technical feedback toward US products aiming for China.

　　Manage technical resources and schedules

　　Interface with EA US technical teams

　　Hire and train technical staff.

　　Requirements:

　　3+ years experience as technical lead for a medium to large size project

　　BS or above in Computer Science or related field

　　Solid understanding of object oriented principles and design patterns

　　Experience with client/server software project

　　Strong knowledge and practical experience with the Java or C++ programming language, with at least 4 years of relevant industry experience

　　Excellent communication skills in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English

　　Polished professional; communicates with impact

　　Able to handle multiple and sometimes competing priorities.

　　Disciplined self-starter with strong attention to detail.

　　May be required to travel.

　　Desirable Skills:

　　Working knowledge of UNIX (Solaris and Linux) environments.

　　Experience with Apache/Tomcat, J2EE, XML, performance profiling, and project management a plus.

　　Experience developing multi-tier distributed applications that use multithreading, synchronization, and databases.

　　Experience with HTML, JSP's, servlets, relational databases (Oracle preferred), SQL, and JDBC.

　　Understanding of networks, Internet protocols, clusters, load balancing, performance analysis and tuning, and quality of service (QOS).

　　Prior professional game development experience a plus

　　Passionate about game and game development.

　　3D graphic programming ability, including DierctX9, Maya scripting.

　　Experience with software localization
