  E3 上采访 Bill Tubbs 瀑雪北方开发人员 前黑暗王朝玩家,在E3上演示。

  问: 在Wow我们可以看到几种不同类型的服务器?

  答: 发售时,我们会有普通(我想这里typical应该指普通的)的服务器组,它包括若干地区可以允许玩家进行双方都自原得PVP.发售后,我们将尝试真正的pvp服务器,哪里将会是自由pk地带。当然我们总是服务器的类型和游戏策略找好的注意(这一句,请高手执教)

  问:什么时候将进行公开测试,会进行多久?

  答: 在E3后,我们将宣布更多的申请信息(申请什么,他没说清楚),但公开测试绝对在那之后开始。

  我们希望在年底可以开始ShiP!!!就是正式 卖钱啦。

  问: 测试服务器上的角色可以带到正式的吗?

  答:这个问题还在争论中。然而最有可能的是清洗所有数据,为了让所有玩家都经历初级阶段。在低等级阶段的多游戏策略元素组合可以让玩家不会觉得从新升级是一件痛苦的事情。

  Wednesday I spoke with Blizzard North developer, Bill Tubbs. The former Dark Age of Camelot player was demoing WoW to the E3 crowd. During a short break I had the chance to ask him some of your questions:

  WoW Warcry: "What are the different server types we can expect in WoW?"

  Bill Tubbs: At release, we'll have the typical stock of servers that will consist of zone and faction based consensual PVP. After release we're looking into 'true' PVP servers, where it would be a free for all, however we're always up for new ideas when it comes to server types and gameplay.

  WW: "When is the Open Beta going to start, and how long will it last?"

  After e3 we're going to announce some more sign up dates (for what, he was not clear), but the open beta will definitely occur after that. We're looking to ship sometime before the end of the year.

  W: "Will WoW beta characters be able to be carried over to the retail servers?"

  BT: That issue is up for grabs at this time, however a full character wipe is more likely, in order to have all players going through the lower level material. The incorporation of new gameplay elements at lower levels should prevent any players from getting bored from having to go through the low level process again.

  "What do you know about Class or Race specific weapons and armor?"

  BT: Already there are class specific weapons in the game, and we plan on releasing more of these types of equipment as development continues.
