　　Location: Shanghai,China

　　Responsibilities:

　　•Works in a team which responsible for maintaining the normal operation of large online-game site, with large number of production servers running a wide variety of operating systems (Linux, Solaris, HPUX, Windows, etc.), database (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, etc.), network equipment (switches, routers, etc.), as well as game applications.

　　•Monitors availability and performance of the whole online game site and all components of its infrastructure, using a variety of monitoring tools.

　　•Be the contact point and first line support of all operational incidents generated by monitoring tools, or reported by other departments. Follows predefined process to perform incident handling tasks, including incident recording, initial investigation and troubleshooting, classifying and dispatching incidents, escalation, incident closure, etc.

　　•Keeps timely and proper communication with caller, internal supporting resources and management team.

　　•Cooperates with EA China and world wide resources to troubleshoot and solve complicated problems.

　　•Performs daily system/network/database/application maintenance tasks.

　　•Collects availability, performance and operation data, prepares report when required

　　•Takes part in operation runbook and knowledgebase development and maintenance.

　　•Coaches new hired support engineers and operators.

　　•Works as part of a team that provides 7x24 support when required

　　Requirements:

　　•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

　　•Should have 2-5 years working experience as IT support engineer

　　•Knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows NT, database, Network and monitoring tools (BMC Patrol, Netcool, SiteScope and HP Openview)

　　•Data center operation experience preferred

　　•Good interpersonal and problem solving skills

　　•Must be self-motivated with strong sense of ownership

　　•Good written and verbal communications skills

　　•Good command of English

　　•Be able to work shiftily, need to provide 7X24 support

　　Desirable Skills:

　　•English and Mandarin fluency

　　•Avid gamer

　　Online game operation experiences
