　　Responsibilities:

　　•Manages the progress of projects from the handoff through release

　　•Maintains the integrity of complex engineering features across multiple releases by applying technical skills in client/server software development

　　•Acts as producer / project manager for projects with limited resources

　　•Works closely with development teams to continually evaluate and improve the software development and testing process

　　•Coordinates the dependencies between departments on projects with aggressive timelines

　　•Interacts with senior development team engineers to specify and design automation system requirements

　　•Writes unit tests for server side automated component testing within existing automation frameworks such as JUnit

　　•Develops automation scripts using QuickTestPro and/or other tools

　　•Develops performance testing scripts and monitors results

　　•Holds code reviews with QA and engineering for automation project

　　•Diagnoses and resolves problems with deployment and server configurations

　　•Prioritizes and resolves competing dependencies in order to bring a complex project through a QA cycle to a timely launch

　　•Provides status as to a project's release readiness and judges whether defects are blocking to a release

　　•Prepares estimates, testing schedules, trend and risk analysis

　　•Attends design reviews, prepares test matrices, performs testing, and coordinates external dependencies in leading the testing of complex technical projects

　　•Develops innovative solutions to test processes

　　•Elevates significant issues to Test Lead / Manager

　　•Foresees issues and provides proactive solutions to closure

　　•Assists Lead in defining test strategy and scope

　　•Develops, documents and communicates test process improvements on a multiple project basis

　　•Helps determine test priorities and balances available resources on large projects by dividing and directing test assignments

　　•Ensures robustness of the system and approves components and projects for launch

　　•Able to chair meetings with all levels of management attending

　　•Mentors and trains junior team members on testing, debugging, and automation development

　　•Participates in interviewing and hiring process

　　Requirements :

　　•Full life cycle software development process knowledge

　　•Demonstrated understanding of automation testing as it relates to client server and web based games

　　•Knowledge of C++, VB, Perforce, Java, SQL, XML, UNIX/Linux, HTML, Perl, Python, TCP/IP, and client/server systems, with some programming experience in 4 or more of these areas

　　•Knowledge of data structures and database reporting techniques

　　•Use of and ability to improve upon automated and manual test tools

　　•Unit test development

　　•Strong knowledge of Windows XP, 2000, Excel and HTML

　　•Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

　　•Quality Analyst/Technician with at least 5 years experience on multiple projects from requirements to release

　　•2 years experience with web GUI automation tools such as QTPro/Winrunner

　　•2 years of unit test development experience, preferably with JUnit

　　•2 years experience with performance analysis frameworks, tools, and methodologies

　　Desirable Skills:

　　•XML or

　　•In depth knowledge and functional understanding of C++ skills

　　•SQL, Oracle and Crystal reports

　　•VC debugging and other debugger skills

　　Experience working in UNIX/Linux environment
